MLIS Summer 2021 Registration Opens
Summer 2021 registration will open on Tuesday, February 23 in Testudo. We are working on updating the schedule, but the core classes will be offered along with some electives. The courses will be offered online, asynchronously. New electives that will be added to the schedule will include two 1 credit courses (Writing and Evaluating Book Reviews and Diversity in Children’s Literature) taught by Edie Ching and a collection development and records management course if possible.
Please visit the Office of Extended Studies for more information about summer registration, academic deadlines, and tuition and payment information. Please contact the Office of Financial Aid if you have questions about financial aid eligibility for summer. For those new to summer registration, you'll see that our courses are usually offered in the following sessions (Summer I: June 1-July 9, Summer II: July 12-August 20, and the full summer session (June 1-August 20) depending on the course. The terms may change in Testudo depending on instructor availability as the MLIS Program finalizes the schedule, but we will send any updates if needed.
