Cholly Mi’Kayla Estes

Cholly Estes (she/her) is originally from Washington, Dc. She graduated from Bowie State University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and will receive a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Maryland College Park in May 2023. In 2022, Cholly began working as a Graduate Academic Advisor in the Office of Letters and Sciences at UMD and is currently a University of Maryland Senate member. Cholly’s academic interests have included analyzing Disengaged Youth (between ages 16-24) in the District of Columbia and Juvenile Justice Youth Advocacy in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Cholly resides in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, with her Mini Goldendoodle, Kyoto, and loves to travel and listens to Classic Rock and RnB.
