Preeti Lakhole is a Faculty Assistant at the College of Information Studies (iSchool) at the University of Maryland. She is an experienced professional with over 10 years of experience in the Audit, Banking and Finance industry and has worked with leading companies such as CitiBank, World Bank Group and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Preeti is a data professional and led several projects to deliver complex technology solutions to banking and Finance clients and build solid data products to automate manually inefficient processes and create centralized reporting systems.

Preeti actively stays involved in various social initiatives such as sponsoring children’s education and health at World Vision India and also volunteers for causes related to education and women’s empowerment.Preeti holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from SNDT University and has completed Masters in Information Management from the iSchool at UMD. In her free time. Preeti enjoys Yoga and cooking Italian food.
