Curriculum & Tracks – Master of Information Management (MIM)
The MIM degree requires you to complete 36 credit hours with at least a B average (3.0 GPA):
- 4 Core Courses (12 Credits) required of all students that provide a foundation of skills and knowledge related to technology, information, and management.
- Software Development Environments (waived for programming expertise)
- Information Environments
- Management of Information Programs and Services
- Industry Capstone Project (or Thesis)
- 8 Additional Courses (24 Credits) to develop advanced knowledge and skills in data science and analytics, cybersecurity and risk management, and leadership and innovation.
Four tracks are available:
- Data Science and Analytics
- Cybersecurity and Risk Management
- Flexible Individual Program Plan
- Thesis Option
We offer a flexible mix of modalities (in-person and online) and schedules (daytime and evening). You can complete the program as quickly as two years or enroll part-time. You can choose electives to focus on your area of interest and develop expert-level skills tailored to careers in data science, analytics, cybersecurity, and risk management
