Ethical VR/AR/XR Research Design with Youth and Families

The work to be completed involves being a participating site in the XR for Youth Ethics Consortium. The expected work will include at least 90 encounters with stakeholders in the space of Extended Reality technologies and children to discuss ethical issues. • Developing a foundational set of principles and processes for Extended Reality ethics when children are the users • Co-organizing special interest groups and workshops at conferences such as Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI) and Interaction Design and Children (IDC) • Co-authoring publications based on the outcomes of research activities conducted at consortium sites.
