Marivel Soria

Marivel Soria is a southern California native graduating from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a Master of Education in Student Affairs and an undergraduate degree from California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) in Sociology and Chicana/o Studies. For the last five years, Marivel has served students in a college access and student affairs capacity, more recently, as an Assistant Resident Director for UCLA Residential Life. In her current role, she serves as the Senior Undergraduate Program Advisor for the iSchool bachelor of science in information science program at the College Park campus. Outside of work, Marivel enjoys outdoor hikes with her dogs, painting, and exploring new coffee shops.
