Emilia is the College of Information Studies (iSchool) Master of Information Management Program Coordinator. In addition, she began pursuing an M.S. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Baltimore in Fall 2021. Emilia graduated cum laude from Elon University with a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing and Rhetoric and a minor in Psychology. While at Elon University, Emilia founded and presided over a chapter of the national mental health advocacy organization Active Minds, which fueled her professional passion for working with students, staff, and faculty members within a university. While living in Colorado, Emilia worked as the Regional Marketing Coordinator for the hospitality company Wyndham Vacation Rentals. She is excited to use her prior experience in communications, psychology, and mental health advocacy to enhance the experience of higher education for all.
