Kofi Ansah-Brew, a University of Maryland alumnus with a degree in Information Science, plays a vital role in protecting health data as a Cybersecurity Auditor in the Office of Inspector General’s Cybersecurity and IT Audit Division. He identifies system vulnerabilities and recommends measures to prevent cyberattacks, contributing to the security of healthcare programs nationwide. Kofi leads vulnerability management efforts and has been involved in high-profile audits, including cloud system assessments for the Administration for Children and Families. His passion for cybersecurity began in high school and evolved through hands-on experiences, leading to a career dedicated to safeguarding critical infrastructure.
