If you’ve been wondering how gestures and mathematics learning go together - for K-12 students or undergraduates - and how to use gesture in the new fully online environment many of us find ourselves in, then this is the event for you! The panelists have developed a short video series (45 minutes in total) that we ask you to watch in advance so that they can build upon that previous research during the event; and Dr. Soto will extend their research into the undergraduate population.
If you’re interested in mathematics teaching, learning, or research - whether face-to-face or online - then this is the event for you!
When: May 19, from 2 - 3:30 pm eastern
How: Visit https://www.embodiedmathematics.com/emic-virtual to fill out a short form, and we will send you password-protected access to the videos and the zoom event.
Who: Everyone! Share this event announcement far and wide.
