Get Involved: Build support for what you care about by becoming a Giving Day Champion! It’s as easy as:
1. Become a Champion Fundraiser: Show your support by raising funds on behalf of your favorite program or initiative
2. Tell your Story: Use your Fundraiser Toolkit to customize your personal page with images, text, and video
3. Spread the Word: Share your personal page with your network to promote Giving Day

Why #GivingDayUMD?
Giving Day is a 24-hour fundraising event held on March 9 for all members of the University of Maryland community. Students, faculty, staff, parents, friends, and alumni are invited to join the largest day of giving because we are all Terps! The goal is to raise critical funding and engage our community to advance the mission of the University of Maryland.
