INFO OACES is excited to host Karen Kwon, research and special projects editor at Science News, for a discussion on the impact of AI and mis/disinformation on research and science journalism.
Karen Kwon is the research and special projects editor at Science News. Previously, she was a associate editor of Optics & Photonics News and a 2020 AAAS Mass Media Fellow at Scientific American. Originally from Seoul, South Korea, she has a Ph.D. in chemistry from Columbia University and a master’s degree in journalism from New York University’s Science, Health and Environmental Reporting Program.
