We will be taking off the Fridays of June 25 (attending ALA Annual Conference Virtual) and July 2 (Independence Day weekend), and will return on July 9th for one final episode in our weekly MLA Conversations series, which began in April 2020. The MLA Conversations will then transition to an occasional series.

We will learn about how the ebook public policy landscape is continuing to change. We’ll discuss the passage of the Maryland law requiring publishers to license ebooks to libraries under reasonable terms, DPLA’s recent agreement with Amazon Publishing to make their ebooks available to U.S. libraries, and other developments on the horizon. Our guests are:
