Searching and applying for jobs and internships is stressful! Not only can it be hard to know where to start and how to go about the search process, but it almost always includes managing mental and emotional stress. Dealing with anxiety, stress, worry, and insecurity in the job and internship search is both common and normal! This is especially the case in our current moment, as the job market is highly competitive and searches are taking longer than they have in recent years.
Please join Monique McIntyre, Embedded Counselor for the INFO College, and Kevin Kenneally, Program Director for the University Career Center at INFO, for this engaging workshop that will teach you how to effectively manage the job search logistically and mentally/emotionally. Monique and Kevin want you to leave this workshop with concrete steps in mind to engage in the job/internship process effectively while knowing how to take care of yourself in the process.
This workshop is open to all students, but is specifically targeted to students in the College of Information.
