Description:
The annual HCIL symposium brings together top HCI thinkers and influencers from academia and industry for presentations on innovative research on UX, accessibility, and other HCI topics; demonstrations of new technologies; and discussions by key leaders in the HCI field. Join us on May 23, 2024, as we celebrate 41 years of groundbreaking HCI research. This year’s presentations and panels highlight ongoing research happening in the lab. HCIL members will share their work on human-centered AI and NLP, data viz, accessibility, health & well-being, usable privacy & security, edtech and more.
Attend in person at the Brendan Iribe Center for Computer Science and Engineering to pick up some swag, see all the presentations and panels, and network with other attendees at lunch, coffee breaks, and the poster session/reception. If you can’t make it to campus that day, register to attend virtually to watch the talks live and participate in Q&A sessions. All registrants will have access to a recording of the talks after the event, as well as an event program with abstracts for each talk.
