Professional Development for Alumni Network Members
The iSchool Alumni Network Professional Development Grant is made possible by the generous donations of alumni and friends of the iSchool. These funds are available to support the expenses of attendance at a conference or meeting for professional development. Priority will be given to those presenting their research or offering expertise at local, national or international meetings and conferences. Applicants must be current members of the Alumni Network. A copy of the completed iSchool Alumni Network Professional Development Grant Application Form should be emailed to: UMDiSchoolAlum@gmail.com.
The maximum of $500 per grant may be provided. No more than one grant will be given to a person per year. The iSchool Alumni Network reserves the right to not offer this grant program at their discretion.
Applicants must complete the application form and submit it to the iSchool Alumni Office at least 90 days prior to travel. A brief report detailing the benefits received from the professional development grant should be submitted to the iSchool Alumni Office within one month of return from the meeting or conference. This report may be posted to the iSchool Alumni Network website.
