Three iSchool Alumni Contribute to the Music Library Association's 2018 Convention in Portland

Three iSchool alumni contributed to the Music Library Association's 2018 convention in Portland, OR. On January 31, Matthew Testa  (MLS '15), Archivist of the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University, presented a lightning talk in the pre-conference workshop, MLAtechCamp, about a data set derived from Baltimore Symphony Orchestra concert programs. On February 1, Avery Boddie (MLIS '17), a reference librarian at American University, participated as a panelist in "What I learned in Library School and Real Life: Advice for Students and New Professionals." On February 2, Melissa Wertheimer (MLIS '17), Archivist of the Music Library Association and Processing Archivist at Special Collections in Performing Arts at UMD, presented "Our MLA Archives: Focusing on Visibility and Access."
