Kibbi Henderson understands that working in a public service position doesn’t come without sacrifice and requires a steadfast dedication to ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusion for all. She brought this spirit and her love for libraries and information to the iSchool where she is currently the Human Resources Manager and Equity Administrator. For nearly three years, Kibbi has led the iSchool Human Resources department, engaged in presentations around resume and interview preparation, and developed workshops for iSchool faculty and staff addressing race, privilege, and other diversity issues. She received her Master’s in Human Resources from the University of Maryland Global Campus, then went on to work for the Prince George’s County Library and UMD Libraries prior to her current role at the iSchool. Kibbi has been essential in assisting with staff issue resolutions and aiding in career development for faculty, staff, and students. Kibbi loves to express her creativity through painting and completing puzzles. She is also an avid traveler, having visited 23 different countries across five continents, and loves dogs, often volunteering her time at the local animal shelter.
