iSchool Graduate Assistant earns top award at University of Maryland

Alina Goldman just received news that she has been awarded the Graduate School’s Outstanding Graduate Assistant Award for 2017.  This identifies her as part of a select group of graduate students at UMD. Approximately 4,000 UMD graduate students also serve as teaching, research, or administrative assistants. The Graduate School wants to recognize the outstanding contributions that these GAs provide to students, faculty, departments, administrative units, and the University as a whole. While the Awards carry no cash prize, they convey the honor of being named among the top 2% of campus GAs in a given year.  Congratulations, Alina! (Read more)
