Faculty iSchool Awards

We are pleased to announce the results of the Faculty iSchool Awards! Congratulations, all.

Program Innovation Award
Professor Bill Kules is the inaugural recipient of the Program Innovation Award for Maryland's iSchool! This honor recognizes instructional faculty who have made exceptional and innovative contributions to the college's curricula and programs. Contributions can be at the graduate or undergraduate level, and can include, but are not limited to: new or revised specializations, concentrations or course sequences; development, application or sharing of innovative teaching practices; or creation of new learning materials or resources like a student design lab.

iSchool Students' Choice Awards
The Students' Choice Teaching Award at Maryland's iSchool celebrates the contributions of our instructional faculty by having students nominate instructors who have had outstanding positive impacts on the students' learning in the iSchool. There are two categories: Undergraduate Teaching, which is awarded to Shawn Janzen, and Graduate Teaching, which is awarded to Rachel Gammons.
