Bio

Chris Antoun has a joint appointment at the iSchool and JPSM (Joint Program in Survey Methodology). He is a methodologist with training in survey and data science. His research focuses on new technologies in data collection, including mobile Web surveys, smartphone apps, and text messaging. Before coming to UMD, he was postdoctoral fellow at the Census Bureau where he helped design and conduct lab experiments to determine ways to design effective smartphone questionnaires. He obtained his PhD and MS in Survey Methodology from the University of Michigan.
