2018 Conference on Inclusion and Diversity in Library and Information Science (CIDLIS)
Friday | November 9, 2018 | 9AM - 5PM
University of Maryland McKeldin Library | Special Events Room | 7649 Library Lane | College Park, MD 20742
The 2018 Conference on Inclusion and Diversity in Library and Information Science (CIDLIS) focuses on issues of diversity, inclusion, and information access in library and information professions. It is the one place that practitioners, educators, and scholars interested in issues of diversity, inclusion, rights, and justice in LIS can gather to learn, share, and network. The previous conferences have included a vibrant, engaged community of practitioners, researchers, and students. With a theme of "What are We Waiting For?" this year's conference encourages conversations among attendees and will feature presentations from dynamic, innovative practitioners and researchers who are sure to engage and inspire attendees to take action that leads to transformation in our field.
As always, attendance at CIDLIS is free (and so is the food). The conference takes place on Friday, November 9, 2018. Learn More
