UMD iSchool New Student Orientation
Wednesday, August 21, 9AM - 4PM
Colony Ballroom (Stamp Student Union)
At the iSchool’s college-specific New Student Orientation, you will meet faculty & staff, connect with other students, and learn about the ways you can get the most out of your time with the iSchool. The morning session will be spent collectively as a college, and then after lunch, students will be in program-specific breakout sessions with faculty, staff, current students, and fellow incoming students.
All incoming in-person graduate students are required to attend the iSchool's New Student Orientation. If you are an incoming undergraduate student, or an online MLIS student, you are encouraged to attend if you are able! However, all undergraduate students are required to attend the general University of Maryland's Undergraduate Orientation .
