Human Computer Interaction Lab (HCIL) Weekly Brown Bag Lunch
12:30 - 1:30 PM, Every Thursday When School is in Session (Check Schedule)
In the HCIL, 2119 Hornbake Building, South Wing
As a tradition of the UMD Human-Computer Interactaion Lab (HCIL), Brown Bag Lunch (BBL) has been the weekly event happening on Thursdays where we all come together. It’s a unique time for HCIL members, iSchool faculty, and students to build collaborations, increase awareness of each other’s activities, and generally just have a bit of fun together.
Each BBL features a speaker and topic of discussion, ranging from someone's work, current interests in the HCIL, or software demos/reviews - to study design, proposed research topics, or introductions to new people. Please visit the online schedule to view upcoming speakers.
There is no RSVP, simply show up! Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch. When possible, pizza will be served as well.
If you would like to give or suggest a talk, presentation, workshop, etc., send an email to BBL student co-coordinators Teja Maddali, firstname.lastname@example.org, and Aravind Rajkumar, email@example.com. In the email, briefly describe the topic and preferred dates.
