Adjunct Lecturer

Dr. Owens works at the intersection of libraries, archives, museums, education, and digital technology. His passion is working to ensure that libraries, archives, and museums are making the best potential use of digital tools and infrastructure to accomplish their public and civic missions. He has experience developing strategy and national policy around digital preservation and stewardship, managing the development of open-source software projects, curating online collections and exhibitions, and steering grantmaking initiatives to build capacity. His doctoral work in social science research methods anchors all of his work in methods in research and evaluation.
