Sareil graduated in 2019 from the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC). She studied Intensive Psychology and Critical Race & Ethnic Studies with an emphasis in the African Diaspora. During her undergraduate career at UCSC, Sareil contributed to many organizations/resources such as the Martin Luther King Jr. Convocation Planning Committee, Counseling & Psychological Services, African American Resource & Cultural Center, Office of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion, Critical Race & Ethnic Studies Student Working Group, Humanities Undergraduate Student Committee, Rosa Parks African American Themed House (RPAATH), and much more. Since graduating, she has committed to her passion for higher education and the non-profit fields by holding positions as an Academic Advisor, Success Coach, and Program Manager. In her free time, she is involved with the UCSC Alumni Council, UCSC volunteer career advising, spending time with her fur baby, Twinkie, and participating in weekly karaoke nights.
