Are you creative? Analytical? Have a knack for solving complex problems? The University of Maryland (UMD) Info Challenge is an annual week-long competition where college students from across UMD and the state solve real-world problems—in the areas of data analytics, security, and design—using data provided by partner organizations such as Amazon Web Services, the National Cancer Institute, Booz Allen, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

⇒ No prior data experience required!

This is a free event, including admission, swag, food, and beverages.

This event is hosted annually in late February. More information about registering to compete in the 2023 event will be posted closer to the event.
