iSchool Assistant Professor, Dr. Jennifer Golbeck to Conduct Workshop for Major Conference(College Park, MD, 6/3/09)

iSchool Assistant Professor, Jennifer Golbeck, was chosen out of 25 submissions to lead a workshop at this year’s International Semantic Web Conference, their  top conference. This year the conference is being held October 25-29 in Washington, DC.

Semantic Web User Interaction  (SWUI) explores the issues and challenges faced by users accessing and interacting with the Semantic Web. Participants will work together to explore the unique opportunities for research and applications which emerge at the intersection of the semantic web and user interaction design. To this end participants in the community will endeavor to reach out to other potentially interested people from members of the human computer interaction community, from the Semantic Web community and others, such as the accessibility community, interested in the area.
