Doctoral Students Receive Distinguished Fellowship Award

Two of Maryland’s iSchool doctoral students, Pengyi Zhang and Xiaoli Huang received the Eugene Garfield Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship Award from the Beta Phi Mu Honor Society.

This fellowship is awarded to library and information science doctoral students who are working on their dissertations. The fellowship is worth $3,000. Beta Phi Mu awards six of these fellowships each year.
