The online Master of Information Management (MIM) is the same program offered at the University of Maryland, College Park and Universities at Shady Grove campuses, and is taught by the same faculty. The MIM program blends elements of information systems, business management and computer science to prepare professionals to manage information and technology strategically. Students have the opportunity to blend classroom instruction with real-life problem solving through individual and group project experiences. Students in the online MIM will complete the program’s Strategic Management of Information concentration.

The online MIM program follows a cohort structure. Admission will be limited to a cohort of no more than 25 students who will complete the program together. Students will take two courses each Fall and Spring semester, and two courses during the university’s Summer sessions, in order to complete the degree within two years.
