Academic librarians are employed at all levels of institutions of highereducation, from community colleges to 4-year colleges or large researchand Ph.D. granting institutions.
Primary Responsibilities
These include reference, research, collection development, selection, acquisitions, bibliographic control, preservation, information technology and management.
